Green River had taken Wendover down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Pirates fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

While Green River had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 16-25, 25-18.
