Soccer Recap: Sewickley Academy Takes a Loss

Sewickley Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Neshannock on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Sewickley Academy moved to 11-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Neshannock, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-2 record this season.
