Soccer Game Preview: New Castle vs. Greenfield-Central

New Castle is 1-9 against Greenfield-Central since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for New Castle's offense. They fell 2-0 to Anderson on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, New Castle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Anderson are ranked 68th).

Meanwhile, Greenfield-Central didn't have quite enough to beat Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Greenfield-Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for New Castle, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1.
