Basketball Recap: Central Davidson Takes Down Piedmont in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Central Davidson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 51-33 victory over the Piedmont Panthers on Tuesday.

Central Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.
