Basketball Game Preview: Groesbeck Goats vs. Westwood Panthers

The Groesbeck Goats will head out to challenge the Westwood Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Groesbeck is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Groesbeck opened the new year with a less-than-successful 47-39 loss to Buffalo.

Meanwhile, Westwood came up short against Elkhart on Friday and fell 46-38. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Elks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Groesbeck's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Groesbeck might still be hurting after the 53-33 defeat they got from Westwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Groesbeck avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
