Baseball Recap: Mount Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mount Pleasant fell victim to Red Lion Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Green Knights have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Mount Pleasant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Molina, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Molina is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Mount Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Mount Pleasant will square off against Christiana at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they will face off against Odyssey Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
