Basketball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott lost against Findlay back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Scott Bulldogs were dealt a 57-18 defeat at the hands of the Findlay Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 474th, while the Trojans are ranked 140th).

Scott dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Findlay, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will face off against Cardinal Stritch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Scott is facing Cardinal Stritch at the right time seeing as Cardinal Stritch is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Findlay, they will square off against Ross at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
