Basketball Game Preview: Great Bridge Wildcats vs. Granby Comets

The Great Bridge Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Granby Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Great Bridge is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, 2025 welcomed Great Bridge with an 84-59 loss courtesy of First Colonial.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granby). They came out on top against Tabb by a score of 73-65 two weeks ago. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Tigers are ranked 348th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Granby and bumps their season record up to 4-4. As for Great Bridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
