Basketball Recap: Skyview Skates Past Heritage with Ease

There's no place like home for Skyview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Heritage Timberwolves 77-48. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Timberwolves are ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Loss or not, Heritage got some senior leadership from Brooks Greenawald and Tyrell Cash. Greenawald went 7 for 15 on his way to 19 points, while Cash posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delorian Holmes, who put up eight points and five rebounds.

Skyview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyview will square off against Battle Ground at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will face off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
