The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pingry, who took down 264th ranked Bound Brook, 13-12. Mitch Suzuki threw for 80 yards in the win.
South Hunterdon moved up to 142 from 203 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-State 38 - Hills. The Eagles were able to move up by beating Roselle Park 23-13.
Sean Glasgow provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Crusaders fell to the Big Blue. Glasgow's favorite target this week was Justin Foster, who caught 4 passes for 74 yards.
Glasgow was the best running back in the league this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 184 yards as Bound Brook lost to Pingry. Teammate Jarrett Gardner added to the ground attack by rushing for 21 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Anthony Zuhone of Manville is the league leader in passing yards this season with 482. He has also thrown 3 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Foster. The Bound Brook star has 12 catches for 252 yards.
Next week's game between the Mustangs and South Hunterdon will feature a good passing match up as Zuhone will test his arm against Devon Troutman's defensive ability.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Dominic Longo's team takes on the Panthers. As it stands, the Crusaders are in fourth, while Roselle Park is in second.
Manville lost to Bernards 47-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zuhone was a bright spot for Patrick Gorbatuk's team, as he threw for 102 yards and ran for 62 yards in the defeat.
