Basketball Game Preview: Colbert County Indians vs. Lauderdale County Tigers

The Colbert County Indians will take on the Lauderdale County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colbert County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lauderdale County likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Colbert County earned a 68-61 victory over Clements.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 62 points the game before, Lauderdale County was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against Rogers, falling 49-28.

Lauderdale County's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Colbert County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Colbert County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lauderdale County in their previous matchup two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 57-52 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Colbert County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
