Basketball Game Preview: Bridges Prep Buccaneers vs. Lake Marion Gators

The Bridges Prep Buccaneers are taking a road trip to challenge the Lake Marion Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridges Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lake Marion likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Bridges Prep strolled past Edisto with points to spare, taking the game 57-40.

A Wilson and Q Young were among the main playmakers for Bridges Prep as the former dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 boards and the latter dropped a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was C Arroyo, who posted 11 points along with five boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lake Marion's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Whale Branch.

Lake Marion's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Bridges Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
