Basketball Recap: Taylorsville Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

West Jordan came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Taylorsville, but Kobe Allen wouldn't allow it. The Taylorsville Warriors walked away with a 73-60 victory over the West Jordan Jaguars on Tuesday thanks in part to Allen, who posted 38 points and six assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Taylorsville's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Johnson, who put up 16 points and three steals. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high.

Taylorsville pushed their record up to 5-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for West Jordan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Taylorsville is taking a road trip to challenge Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Juan Diego Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Taylorsville surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Jordan, they will challenge Cyprus at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
