Basketball Recap: Phillipsburg Comes Up Short

Phillipsburg lost against Thomas More Prep-Marian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Phillipsburg Panthers took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Phillipsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillipsburg will face off against Ellis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, they will take on Great Bend at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
