Football Recap: California Victorious + How To Watch

California had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They slipped by the American Canyon Wolves 24-23 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The critical scores for California came from Jordan Lee, Henry Dupin, and Luke Taylor.

American Canyon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Andre Lopez, who rushed for 139 yards and one TD while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Kameron Hunter, who threw for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

California picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 8-3. As for American Canyon, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Coming up, California will challenge Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
