Calvary Christian Academy won the last time they faced Donovan and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Donovan's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lillian Courville, who had 27 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Bailey Henneike, who had 18 assists and 15 digs.

Calvary Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Donovan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will face off against Judah Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Donovan, they will host Southland College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
