Preview: Northwest Webster vs. Ridge View
Ridge View will challenge Northwest Webster on the road on Friday. Ridge View don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Ridge View have had to suffer through a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 26-0 margin over St. Edmond.the rankings were on Ridge View's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Meanwhile, we expected Northwest Webster to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Sioux Central last Friday, and they did. Northwest Webster suffered a grim 14-36 defeat to Sioux Central. Northwest Webster's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it seven losses in a row.
Ridge View's win lifted them to 1-6 while Northwest Webster's defeat dropped them down to 0-7. We'll find out if Ridge View can add another positive mark to their record or if Northwest Webster can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Ridge View's step.
