Soccer Recap: Seabreeze Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Seabreeze was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Spruce Creek Hawks by a score of 1-0. The Sandcrabs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Seabreeze's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-4. As for Spruce Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seabreeze will challenge Matanzas at 7:30 p.m. on January 15th. As for Spruce Creek, they will take on New Smyrna Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spruce Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
