Volleyball Recap: Kaneland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Kaneland and LaSalle-Peru had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers on Thursday. The Knights have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

LaSalle-Peru was led to victory by Emma Jereb and Aubrey Urbanski. Jereb had 16 assists and nine digs, while Urbanski had ten assists and three digs. That's the most assists Urbanski has posted over her last six contests.

Kaneland's loss dropped their record down to 11-23. As for LaSalle-Peru, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 29-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Kaneland nor LaSalle-Peru have any future games scheduled.
