Baseball Recap: Valley Oaks CES Comes Up Short

Valley Oaks CES lost against Valor Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vanguards fell just short of Valor Academy by a score of 9-8. The Vanguards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Oaks CES saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andre Zuniga, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Valley Oaks CES' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Valor Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valley Oaks CES is set to take on their familiar foe Triumph Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Valor Academy will square off against rival Community Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
