Basketball Recap: Grape Creek Takes a Loss

Grape Creek lost against Merkel back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grape Creek Eagles took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Merkel Badgers.

Grape Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Merkel, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clyde the next time they take the court. Grape Creek will host Clyde at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Merkel will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
