Penfield faced Victor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Penfield was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23.
