Volleyball Game Preview: Centaurus Warriors vs. Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors

Centaurus will head out on the road to take on Eagle Ridge Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Centaurus has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Centaurus saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Cherry Creek by a score of 2-1.

Eagle Ridge Academy not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Forge Christian 3-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Fury recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Forge Christian scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Eagle Ridge Academy found their leader in freshman Javier Pargas, who had 15 digs. Pargas has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last four times he's played.

Eagle Ridge Academy pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Centaurus, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
