Wake County HomeSchool had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 on Friday.

Jace Jones was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Ferrell, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Jones wasn't the only one making solid contact: Wake County HomeSchool kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Wake County HomeSchool pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.75 runs across that stretch. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5-1.

Wake County HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against John Paul II Catholic on the 2nd. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association has also already played their next matchup (against Hanover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
