Basketball Recap: Yosemite's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Yosemite needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Fallon Vaughn. The Yosemite Badgers greeted the New Year with with a 59-42 victory over the Parlier Panthers thanks in part to Vaughn, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. Those 23 points gave him a new career-high.

Yosemite's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Parlier, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Yosemite wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-36 loss against Firebaugh on the 7th. As for Parlier, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-19 defeat against Kings Christian on the 8th.
