Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Altus). They came out on top against the Duncan Demons by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Altus as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Altus' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Duncan, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Altus will challenge rival Lawton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Duncan is set to take on their familiar foe Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
