Basketball Recap: Huntington Park Comes Up Short

Huntington Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 48-31 fall against the Bell Eagles. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Jeremy Munoz was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Reyes, who put up ten points.

Huntington Park now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Bell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

While Huntington Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
