It was a good run, but Manchester unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 75-61 fall against the Trion Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Blue Devils still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Manchester lost, don't look at Jhiere Terry. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. Terry has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more boards the last nine times he's played. Jaedyn Terry was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Manchester smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Manchester's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 14-2. As for Trion, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Atlanta Classical Academy the next time they take the court. Trion will head out to face Atlanta Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Manchester will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
