            Volleyball Recap: Acadiana Home School Athletics Commandos vs. Lake Area HomeSchool Sports Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Acadiana Home School Athletics barely beat Lake Area HomeSchool Sports the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Commandos put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp  3-0 win on Thursday. The  victory continues a trend for the Commandos in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.
 Acadiana Home School Athletics got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 30-28,  25-21.

Leading Acadiana Home School Athletics to victory were  Emily Mader and  Julia West.  Mader  had 11  aces, six  kills,  and one  block, while  West  had 13  kills, six  digs,  and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Mader has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Isabelle Thibodeaux, who  had four  digs and four  aces.
 They weren't the only good server: Acadiana Home School Athletics  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 20  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Acadiana Home School Athletics' win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Lake Area HomeSchool Sports, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Acadiana Home School Athletics will  face off against  rival Open Door Christian Academy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Area HomeSchool Sports is set to  take on  their familiar foe Midstate Homeschool  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
