Basketball Game Preview: Kimball Jaguars vs. Monte Vista Mustangs + How To Watch

The Kimball Jaguars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Monte Vista Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Kimball's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kimball duked it out with Patterson on Tuesday. The Jaguars slipped by the Tigers 64-63.

Tristen Debenedetti had a dynamite game, putting up 25 points and three steals. Debenedetti is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Rehmat Mann, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, Monte Vista had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Acalanes 77-51. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 28, 2024 (when they won 54-26).

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Monte Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Kimball was dealt a bruising 54-26 loss at the hands of Monte Vista in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
