Bloomington Central Catholic hadn't done well against Lincoln recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Saints walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Railsplitters. The win was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Kampbell Niepagen paced Bloomington Central Catholic's offense, picking up eight kills. Niepagen got some help from Kendall Fair and her 23 assists. Addi Hoeniges controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lauren Tedrick and Gracie Adams certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Tedrick had 16 assists and two blocks, while Adams had three aces. Tedrick is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Bloomington Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Coincidentally, Bloomington Central Catholic and Lincoln will both be playing Routt Catholic the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Railsplitters will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
