Softball Recap: Evergreen Comes Up Short

Evergreen lost against Lindbergh on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The game marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Lindbergh, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evergreen will square off against Interlake at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Saints have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Lindbergh, they will take on Chief Sealth at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seahawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
