Basketball Recap: Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Bloomington South Panthers, falling 83-56. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Panthers are ranked 94th).

Despite the loss, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard still got an impressive performance from Aj Priami, who posted 16 points. The dominant performance gave Priami a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Zavier Lloyd, who earned seven points.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bloomington South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-52 win against Marquette Catholic on the 3rd. As for Bloomington South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-38 loss against Brownsburg on the 3rd.
