Softball Game Preview: Windsor Central Black Knights vs. Corning-Painted Post Hawks

The Windsor Central Black Knights will take on the Corning-Painted Post Hawks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Windsor Central has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Corning-Painted Post will come in with three straight victories.

Maine-Endwell hit Windsor Central with a five-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Black Knights lost 12-0 to the Spartans.

Corning-Painted Post pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Windsor Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
