Volleyball Recap: Sesser-Valier Takes a Loss

Sesser-Valier lost against Goreville back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Blackcats by a score of 2-1. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Sesser-Valier sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-17.

Sesser-Valier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Goreville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Sesser-Valier will be playing at home against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goreville, they will challenge Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
