Softball Recap: Dow Comes Up Short

Dow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bay City Western Warriors. Even if the Chargers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Dow's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bay City Western, their record is now 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dow will square off against Lapeer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bay City Western, they will challenge Powers Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
