Flatirons Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Crested Butte a 1-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for Flatirons Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Annabelle Rakers, who's now up to 23 this season.

Meanwhile, Loveland Classical waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fury. That's two games straight that Loveland Classical have won by just one goal.

Flatirons Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-3-2. As for Loveland Classical, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Flatirons Academy couldn't quite get it done against Loveland Classical in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 5-3. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
