Camden County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins 2-1. Hadley Laflamme had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Bruins got from the refs.

Kaelyn Windham was the driving force of Camden County's attack as she scored both of Camden County's goals.

Coming up, Camden County will take on Perquimans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Manteo on the 28th.
