Mason Ball Game Report: vs Central

For the first time in his career, Mason Ball scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 141 yards and three scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, but sadly Jacksonville still had to take a 27-26 loss at the hands of Central. Our internal rating system judged Friday's effort as the best he's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Even though Ball couldn't lead Jacksonville over Central, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Despite Ball's best efforts to the contrary, the Titans will head into their next match having dropped nine straight games dating back to last season. Will Friday be the turning point?
