There's no place like home for Butler, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cross Creek Razorbacks on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since September 17, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (55-54) Butler actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Butler now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Cross Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
