Alexandria had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past the Hokes Bluff Eagles with  points to spare, taking the game  39-21. That's more bragging rights for the Valley Cubs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Monqre Morris Jr (Mj) went supernova, picking up 131 receiving yards and two  TDs, while also rushing for 73 yards and one  score.
 Despite the loss, Hokes Bluff still got an impressive performance from   Bryce Whitaker, who rushed for 135 yards and one  touchdown on only 12 carries. Whitaker is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 135 every time he's  taken the field this season.
Alexandria's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hokes Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
