Tongue River came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wind River Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chaney Reish paced Tongue River's offense, picking up 11 kills. Reish got some help from Aubrey Kelty and her 16 assists. Emma Sopko controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Tongue River's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Wind River, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Tongue River has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Greybull on the 13th. As for Wind River, they will take on Cokeville in a tournament on Friday.
