Redding Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Burney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Redding Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
While Redding Christian's victory against Chester wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Volcanoes on Thursday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Volcanoes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Tucker Goodman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Redding Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Josh Price also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Fall River hit Burney with a five-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders lost 11-4 to the Bulldogs. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Burney saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Noah, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Robbie Madden was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Burney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Redding Christian, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Redding Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Burney struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Redding Christian's way against Burney in their previous meeting back in April, as Redding Christian made off with a 16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
