Soccer Recap: Gulf Breeze Find Success

Gulf Breeze kept a clean sheet against South Walton on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the South Walton Seahawks 1-0. This was payback for the Dolphins, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Emmaline Sloman, who's now up to five this season.

Gulf Breeze is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. As for South Walton, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Gulf Breeze nor South Walton have any future games scheduled.
