Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Victory Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Poolville on Thursday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monarchs.

While Victory Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Addison Morales paced Victory Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Morales got some help from Milana Gale and her eight assists. Anderli Stanford controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Poolville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Victory Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Midway on the 21st. Hopefully Poolville paid attention to the Patriots' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
