Volleyball Recap: Princeton Panthers vs. Allen Eagles
Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Allen Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-14.
Allen can attribute much of their success to Avery Penrod, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Penrod has posted since back in October of 2023.
Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-22. As for Allen, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Plano West the next time they take the court. Allen will host Plano West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Princeton will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
