Thornapple Kellogg entered their tilt with Union on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Union Red Hawks 66-40. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Red Hawks are ranked 539th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Thornapple Kellogg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Union, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Looking ahead, Thornapple Kellogg will challenge Caledonia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union, they will square off against Forest Hills Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Forest Hills Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
