Redlands East Valley is 8-2 against Citrus Valley since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Redlands East Valley Wildcats will head out to face off against the Citrus Valley Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. Redlands East Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Redlands East Valley challenged Beaumont on Tuesday. Redlands East Valley walked away with a 53-45 win over Beaumont. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Redlands East Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mark Huynh led the charge by putting up ten points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds Huynh has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dariel Bahamontes, who went 5 for 10 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Citrus Valley entered their game against Cajon on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Citrus Valley took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cajon. That's two games in a row now that the Blackhawks have lost by exactly 12 points.

Redlands East Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Citrus Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.
