Whitefield Academy suffered their closest loss since January 9, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Crittenden County Rockets by a score of 49-47. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Whitefield Academy still got an impressive performance from Noel Smith, who went 13 of 19 on her way to 30 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points. Riley Ring was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Whitefield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Crittenden County, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
