Basketball Game Preview: Galileo Lions vs. Lincoln Mustangs

Galileo hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Galileo Lions will host the Lincoln Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Galileo comes in on four and Lincoln on seven.

Last Wednesday, Galileo strolled past Balboa with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. The Lions pushed the score to 41-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Buccaneers cut but never quite recovered from.

Darryn Wong was the offensive standout of the match as he went 6 for 9 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Fort, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 74-40 win over Wallenberg. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

Galileo pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
